For some reason lately my Ares isn't working, and neither is my Limewire. I also tried Frostwire and some other one and nothing. My dad says maybe it has something to do withp2p for free our connection but I never used to have problems with downloading music.

You could try out Shareaza. It's pretty good.
uTorrent or Vuze are both good. if you wanp2p for freet to take a risk go for bittorrent. But, all of them are obviously torrents, meaning you have to use a site with them, such as www.isohunt.com or www.thepiratebay.org
