I have a shrink wrapped edition of windows xp home edition from a used book store? Its COA has been validated however I was wondering if it will run on mywindows oem software computer or is it manufacture specific i.e. will it only run on a HP or Toshiba or Dell?
If it has a manufacturer name on it then it is hardware-specificwindows oem software. If it is just an OEM copy of Windows (with no other company markings ie. Dell, HP etc..) then it will run fine on any computer you want to install it on.
