The question says it all.
Mine would be (gasp) Marilyn Manson. Why,simply due to the art. It seems to be more exquisite and intricate than other i see now a days. He isn't afraid to be who he is,or say what we won't. (insert the rest of why I like him rant)
His genre is around the industrial/heavy metal/rock. Every album is different and seems to have a new sound or theme each time. You can't really pinpoint it exactly...:

Lyrically, musically, and just everything about them I have always loved. Deepest and most intelligent band I've ever listened to.
Eminem. It's hard to explain. He's just different. He is an absolute lyrical genius and juswhy wait theme musict to see what all he has been through is amazing. His music is very deep. It's of the hiphop/rap genre.
Hatsune Miku. I love the sound of her voice, all the songs are varied and have deep meanings to them. And she's so cute!
I think it is of the Vocaloid genre.
I'll hopefully go to one of the concerts some day!
Anathema. They stood for me at some really hard times and i can't help but love them.
